Letter from the Director On May 15th, 2006, I assumed the role as the 9th Director of Rock Medicine. After 12 years of volunteering, I now have the opportunity to serve all of you. You have been my coworkers and my instructors in this wonderful meeting of music and medicine, and as much as this title means to me, I have no doubt that the real heart of Rock Med lies within all of you, the volunteers. This program could not be any more special to me. I have lived it for so long and cherished the friends and family that I have acquired along the way. I hope to spend many years serving you and helping this program to grow. Thank you to all that have made this transition almost flawless to those we serve. I have so much to learn but you have my solemn promise – I will dedicate all of my energy to insure that all your hard work is not in vain. As times change, these things never will: “Health Care is a Right Not a Privilege” “Rock Med will always be there to see that the music plays for all who want to hear it” Thanks for the chance to serve you all
